I am pursuing Master's degree in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto and the Vector institute of Artificial Intelligence. I am a member of Computational Linguistic group under the supervision of Dr.Frank Rudzicz.
Considering my previous background in life science, I am generally interested in applying NLP in healthcare system, but pretty much open to any projects in ML and DL.
Area of Focus: Emotion-Aware Language Model & Explainable AI & NLP in healthcare
Verbal Autopsy is a method of making prediction of a probable cause of death (CoD) given non-medical data collected by surveyors. This research focuses on making classification of CoD with text narrative using machine learning and NLP. The improvement of Verbal Autopsy will lead to an salient decision of public health plans and funding in countries where no physical autopsy is performed.
Chip-Seq is a technique used to determine interactions between proteins and DNA. Various tools exist for DNA data analysis, but people with no computer science background have difficulty using those tools with diverse functionalities. My research focuses on developing a Chip-Seq data analysis application which produces a DNA data-analyzed table/graph in a simple step.
